Oak Hill Shooting Preserve boasts first-class hunting opportunities on over 250 acres. Whether you’re looking to deer hunt, duck hunt, trail behind pointing dogs on an upland adventure shooting quail, pheasant, and chukar, or enjoy a leisurely day fishing, we’ve got your ideal experience waiting! Spend a morning hunting with friends and enjoy lunch alone or prepared by the landowner. Want to stay the night or make a vacation out of it? There are several cabins and a log house on the property to accommodate you and your friends or family.
UPLAND HUNTING
At Oak Hill Shooting Preserve, we understand everyone has unique needs and interests. To best serve you, we proudly offer guided and unguided upland adventures. Our guides have years of experience navigating fields and handling their well-trained pointing dogs to set you up for the best shot possible. Our released quail, pheasant, and chukar are strong and high-flying birds. Have a bird dog you’d like to do some training with? We are happy to schedule an unguided hunt for you too.
DUCK HUNTING
Ducks love it here at Oak Hill. We have several habitats cultivated to attract ducks and to give every hunter a comfortable and powerful vantage point. Our guides have experienced retrievers ready to put your duck in your hand! Plus, with our cabin rentals there is no need to do an early morning drive to a hunting spot and unload. Simply stay the night and walk over to your station.
Have a duck dog you want to work with? You can book a specialized dog training hunt with us to get them on some ducks and work on what they need.
DEER HUNTING
The setup of our preserve provides deer ample water, shelter, and a variety of appealing food sources. This intentional focus on creating habitat that allows our population to thrive makes our hunting expeditions all the more successful. When you book your hunt, you can choose from a variety of stand setups and terrains. In addition, we have a skinning station to make the process as easy as possible.
FISHING
We’ve got a few fishing experts around here–will you join their ranks? The fish are biting! Our ponds are home to Largemouth Bass, Bream, Catfish, and Crappie.
Rules
Keep up to three bass and ten other fish for any size group. All remaining fish are catch and release.
CABIN RENTALS
Our cabins were designed with you in mind. From full kitchens to comfortable furniture and attention to detail that provides a welcoming, cozy environment in the woods, they are waiting for you to step inside. With several cabins and a log house, we have an option for every group size and preference.
